Ginkgo Katsu consistently receives praise for its flavorful and well-prepared tonkatsu offerings, with particular appreciation for unique menu items like cheese katsu and house-made sauces. Reviewers commonly highlight the generous portion sizes, making the meals satisfying and worthwhile despite some perceptions of slightly higher pricing. The accompanying sides and beverage selections, especially the variety of teas such as jasmine and Okinawa milk tea, are frequently noted as excellent complements to the dishes. The restaurant’s atmosphere is described as quiet and conducive to an enjoyable dining experience, with efficient service that accommodates both dine-in and takeout orders smoothly. While takeout items occasionally lose some crispiness, the overall food quality remains a strong point. Amazingly delicious and perfectly cooked. The only place I've found that does cheese katsu and their jasmine tea is the perfect bitter sweet refresher

Love this place and wish I came more often! Super quiet and the portion is huge and I highly recommend getting the bento box which has tons of great flavors and comes with several sides all of which are amazing. The tea here is also top notch and the katsu is amazing! 10/10!

I thought it was a little pricey at first but they give you a very big serving size. I ordered pork katsu and gyoza. I think I could have just ordered one and it would have been enough for two people, but now I know that for next time. Their bulldog sauce tastes like it was house made and it is extremely good. Because I took this to go the chicken was not as crispy but it sat in a car for 20 minutes, that is my fault. I do however wish that the cabbage had an optional dressing. The presentation was really nice. I really enjoyed the meal and I look forward to coming back.

First time trying it, and I know I'll definitely be coming back. The food was so delicious. I ordered ahead for takeout and was able to quickly grab my items. 10/10 definitely recommend checking it out

First time going to this place. I had the chicken Katsu and Okinawa milk tea. 5 star! Chicken was so tender and I loved the ginger dressing for the salad. I will be coming back!

Katsu and speciality drinks are available at this cozy stop. Online ordering is available and is very straightforward. Parking is available in the small lot. Credit cards are accepted. The workers are very friendly. The packaging is thoughtful (ie there are vents in the packaging for the katsu so that it stays crispy). The food is super tasty and reasonably priced. The udon soup has a good texture and comes with a good amount of seaweed and fish cake. The katsu is where it’s at however. The serving of pork cheese katsu was so large the takeout box almost didn’t close. The cheese adds a nice chewiness and the katsu sauce it comes with is just the right amount of sweet. The set comes with salad, rice, and even a little grape candy. The black sugar drink has a customizable sugar level (got 75%) and tasted like maple syrup. The boba is nice and chewy. Overall, this was a good takeout spot and has tasty, reasonably priced food options.

Pretty good katsu place! Don’t remember this place existing before in this plaza but glad me and my family were able to give it a try. Happy that there was something for everyone in the family. It seems to have Japanese and Korean inspired dishes, as one of the boxes you get some delicious small ban chan, but Japanese small dishes that you typically have with Katsu. I just wish there was more in there ! You can order with them or they have a self serve screen. Note that it isn’t the biggest place so if you have a big party just would plan ahead Food Remember that forget do have a yelp check in for a milk tea. We tried their udon, and two katsu boxes, the chicken katsu and the pork katsu with cheese. One of the boxes also had takoyaki and California rolls. Seems like all the food is served in togo boxes and containers even if you dine in. Would stop by , if I am in the area and craving for katsu. Food is even good the next day in air fryer. Until next time !
